Need:
Emmaus Road Institute was birthed out of need and vision. The need was for continuing education and resources for our current pastors and church leaders, and to raise up a new generation of leaders to carry the church into the next two decades. Most of our indigenous church leadership have few options for continued spiritual growth in their lives and ministries, because of high costs for Bibles and resources and due to the fact that Bible Colleges are expensive or not accessible. A secondary result was that the next generation of leaders, in many cases, are being prepared by these current leaders who are desperately lacking resources.
Vision:
Emmaus Road Institute was birthed out of a vision to meet the felt needs of pastors, leaders, and growing Christians who desperately want and need free resources and low-cost educational opportunities. The goal of Emmaus Road Institute is to equip workers for the spiritual harvest that is ripening now. Jesus said to pray that workers would be thrust into the Harvest fields. We want to go beyond praying and help provide the discipleship and mentoring needed to produce productive workers. To accomplish this goal Emmaus Road Institute has created a library of free resources and some low-cost courses. We also offer free, online encouragement and counseling to pastors and leaders.
Mission:
To equip workers for the spiritual harvest by providing free and low-cost resources, education, and encouragement through the Internet.
